Colonia Vacacional (Vacation Camp) is the first in a series of publications obsessed with understanding collective integration dynamics, those common weekend meetings organized by companies or social / religious institutions. These activities -trending in Ecuador and Latin America- in itþs eagerness to shape "community valuable" human beings, end up being events with a disparate mix of religion, family games, food, social media activities and nostalgia-induced encounters amid high doses of sensuality and reggaeton. Author Jaime Nuñez del Arco (Guayaquil, 1976) is an artist and editor based in Quito, Ecuador.
