Fifteen and falling

Sara's dad died a year ago and now her mum is seeing a new man. Sara feels like no one loves her anymore. Liam is older: 18, reassuring, and caring... until Sara accidentally gets him into trouble with the police over is drug-taking habit. Then she's forced to go on the run with him. They find a squat in London, where Sara's best friend Ruby lives with her boyfriend, but gradually they are all dragged into an underworld of drugs and homelessness. Sara and Ruby want to go home, but their boyfriends make them feel trapped and dependent... until the police raid.. In the end it is Sara and Ruby's friendship that gets them through each day, and finally gives them the strength to find a better life.
