Tarsila viajante

Travelling exhibition on artist Tarsila (b. Brazil) highlighting her many extended visits to foreign places (Europe, Turkey, Egypt, Argentina, Russia, Uruguay and Chile) that influenced her art. The exhibition includes paintings from all the periods of the career of the pioneer of Brazilian Modernism, while also offers her 3 more emblematic paintings together: A Negra, Abaporu and Antropofagia together with a collection of sketches and photographs that reflect the glamour and jet set status of an international traveling woman in the 1920s.
