Rochester's story

"Rochester's Story" was originally published in 1960 as a textbook for area schools. It is divided into three main sections. The first pertains to the Iroquois and the early history of the area.
The second section covers the first settlers and the purchase and development of the land. The final part tells the story of the growth of the city and it's cultural development. This book is a wonderful introduction to the history of Rochester for children of all ages!
