The chapters have been divided into four sections and each is set in chronological order. The first section is dedicated to Byzantine and Post-Byzantine painting, including papers on wall-paintings and icon paintings. The second section contains four papers on Byzantine sculpture, showcasing examples from different regions of the Byzantine Empire.
