About This Book

It is an original cookbook with all original recipes by the author. It contains a short anthropological history on grains and cooking, as well as the author's original illustrations. Most of the recipes have corn as an ingredient and the cakes and muffins are made without leavening. The author is currently living in New Mexico and has been researching the Navajo traditional foods for the past eleven years. This comment was written by the author, Natalie Buckley Rowland.
