Leaving the bustle of London behind to return home to Dartmoor after the death of her father, Alison Bourne finds her legacy in danger of slipping away. Her stepmother Julia has unwelcome plans for her childhood home. The nursery her father had built up so lovingly is overgrown, neglected and - short of a miracle - threatened with closure.
