"When does a part of a writing become a text, according to its various possible types? When do rewritings (whether done by the author or not) constitute a new text? And when does a fragment or a miscellany acquire the dignity of text? What does it mean to say that a text is concluded? Is the notion of completeness compatible with that of original, with the European cultural space? And is completeness necessary to the poietic invention?
