A world between us

Felix is a young British nurse who has run away to Spain to help the cause of the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War. She's following the young idealistic Nat, who has joined the joined the International Brigades, but she in turn is followed by George, a young journalist who is in love with her. Felix has to fight to survive the battles of the War and conflicts of her heart. Suggested level: secondary.

As Spain fights for its freedom against tyranny, Felix, a young nurse, battles a conflict of the heart. As war rages around her, Felix must make choices that will change her life forever.
