The Gangrene

This book tells the stories of seven Algerians allegedly arrested and tortured by the Direction de la surveillance du territoire (D.S.T.) in Paris, France because they were suspected of being members of the Front National de Liberation, or the rebel forces in Algeria. All were living in France at the time of their arrest--four as students, three as professionals or businessmen.
