About This Book

This issue begins with an article regarding the appointment of alumnus F. C. Hart as Professor of Economics. Agricultural articles pertain to the profitability of Ontario's largest farm, the eradication of Couch Grass, the best malting barley produced by the O. A. C., and the marketing of honey products. Other agricultural articles address the profitability of dairy farming, the Soil Survey of Ontario, and a series of horticultural notes. Campus news highlights the success of the Live Stock Judging Team, and that the Governor-General enrolled as an Aggie. Other campus news reports on the social whirlwind of dances and barbeques, the success of the athletic teams, and that the National Gallery of Ottawa had lent another collection of paintings for the dinning hall. Included in the editorial is a photograph of the College's war trophies "Jerimiah" and "Amelia". The Alumni column provides a list of the occupations of the Class of 1922, and alumni activities. The Macdonald Institute column reports on the activities of the women's field day, the Halloween Dance, and the Senior Institutional Tea.
