Twice Written is the story of three young friends who live in 1980s Bombay Prahlad the physics-loving crossword fanatic who begins life in a printing press Ananya a level-headed socialist and Laila a dreamy romantic They meet a writer called GODoraiswamy known as God to his friends who is so intrigued by their lives that he sets out to write their stories Like in a palimpsest where new stories are written over the old their lives intersect join and diverge Will Prahlad Ananya and Laila follow the paths Dorai has laid out for them or will they find their own resolutions.
