A tapestry of dreams

As heir to his father's woollen mill, Daniel Bullen is caught between duty and privilege. One day he will be a wealthy and respected man- but in the meantime his father has authority over him. Daniel takes himself a mistress and for a while is content with his measure of rebellion. Daniel meets Susannah Charlesworth, sole heiress to the prosperous Stockdale Estate and sees a way to becoming twice as wealthy as his father.
