The history contains full score cards of every representative match played by Auckland between 1860 and 1901 as well as score cards and reports of local club matches dating from as early as 1842. It also traces the origins of the modern day clubs and the Auckland Cricket Association. The research is all sourced from the original documents and newspapers and many quotations originate from those sources.
