Straw Halter

Betsy is sold to a farmer, and though he doesn't treat her like a servant his jealousy becomes disruptive. She decides to discover the truth about her father who reputedly died when she was a baby. And in turn, she may discover the truth about her relationship with the young farmhand who is making her husband so jealous.
