Rietveld's Universe

Few know the full scope of Rietveld's oeuvre. He designed on every scale: from a bus stop to a small village. Commonly regarded as the most important architect within the De Stijl group, Rietveld was also one of the founders of CIAM. He continued his experiments right up to his death in 1964. His work and teachings have been a major influence in the world of architecture and design. Rietveld's Universe is a comprehensive publication presenting the results of new insights and research, including contributions by international leading scholars on t he subject.
