The Billabong Church stories

The Billabong Church stories are fables. They are short stories using animals to teach Christian morals and ethics as well as biblical truths. The pastor of the Billabong Church is Pastor Dale Possum. He struggles to get his varied congregation to accept the Bible as God's Word and the solution to every problem the animals face. Their behavior and nature are a constant challenge, not unlike a people's church. He works to apply the Word of God to their problems much as a human pastor should do. The Black Stump is a mythological place in the Outback of Australia. All the animals are found in Australia, where my wife, Hazel, and I have had the privilege of serving our Lord.
