Mama's Trippin'

Von's mum has been gone for over ten years when, out of the blue, she invites him to New Zealand. Charlene works nights at a Wellington nightclub; her boyfriend's running from the cops, and she's struggling to keep her two-year-old daughter. Trapped in Charlene's chaotic world, Von spends every night at home playing parent to Stella. And then things go badly wrong - drugs, kidnapping, murder... Von is drawn to the home of his Maori ancestors. The answers wait for him there, but does he have the strength to find them?
