Onvergetelijke buurt

For more than 3 years Bart Lodewijks (1972) was making drawings with blackboard chalk on the walls throughout a neighbourhood in the outskirts of Ghent called Moscou. Slowly, he became a known face in the area and succeeded in getting permission to draw on facades and in interiors of private homes. Next to images of the work, the book contains short texts by the artist and letters to the director of S.M.A.K. and the director of NMBS, the Belgian railway company, to come to a special agreement concerning one specific house.
