About This Book

This is a book on the concepts, theories, models and social consequences of creativity. It contains articles written by well-known scientists and philosophers. It is not primarily a textbook, but can preferably be used both for undergraduate as well as graduate seminars. What makes this volume special is that it brings together the views of scientists from rather different disciplines on a very important topic - CREATIVITY.

As far as we know there is no competing volume, this is the only one of its kind (Boden's volumes are related). Audience: General philosophers of science and scholars working in cognitive science and psychology. It would also be of interest to economists, philosophers, psychologists and people interested in creativity.
