Guidance for mediators

Development of this guidance for mediators benefited from material generated during the United Nations Inter-Agency High-Level Colloquium "Conflict-Related Sexual Violence and Peace Negotiations: Implementing Security Council Resolution 1820" in June 2009. The Colloquium was organized by the United Nations Development Fund for Women (now part of UN Women), Department of Political Affairs, Department of Peacekeeping Operations, United Nations Development Programme, and Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on behalf of UN Action Against Sexual Violence in Conflict and in partnership with the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.
