A federal life

Twenty-two artists were selected to represent a cross-section of Nepal's ethnic diversity. This diversity is visually apparent in their work -- cloth, canvas, mixed media, photographs, a range of materials utilized to express ideas of hope, uncertainty, history and diversity. Four facilitators and two mentors helped the participants explore the possibilities of contemporary art as a tool for meaningful civic education.
