About This Book
This book is a history of the Culver Family of Somerset Maryland Colony (and later Georgia, Alabama and Florida)and its relationship to the Spillers family.
It is written by Lorena Martin Spillers, based on her excellent and exhaustive research of her husband's family. Mrs. Spillers started with the connection of Samuel Spillers (1803-unknown) to Sara Culver (1800-1824), the daughter of Revolutionary War Soldier Nathan Andrew Culver (1746-1828) and continues back to Nathan's grandfather John Culver (1693-1766) of Somerset, Maryland Colony.
It is the basis for much of the family history of this Culver family tree, as well as mine.
