About This Book
This study of the movement of caribou (Rangifer tarandus granti) of the Western Arctic Herd in the Buckland Valley north of Norton Sound in northwest Alaska, was carried out to document conflicting land use in the area resulting from herding of reindeer (Rangifer tarandus tarandus) in the valley and adjacent Nulato Hills. Tracking was done by means of radio collars.
