Box kite to Bali

George T. Weems's memoir of piloting a Rapide from England to its new owner, Connellan Airways, in Australia in 1950 while on leave from the Navy. He was accompanied by his father, P.V.H. Weems, as navigator, and by a fellow Navy pilot and an engineer from Connellan. The memoir was edited after his death by his niece, Gwenann Manseau, using photos and ephemera Weems had gathered on his journey.
