Time of the singing of birds

A young war hero returns home to recover from serious injury and rediscovers a childhood friend. Their rekindled friendship blossoms into love as their common backgrounds and strong faith bind them together. The soldier then strives to return to battle to help rescue the man who'd encouraged his faith and saved his life.
