This is a two-volume set that focuses on workers, class politics and political economy, unions and worker-organization, historical persons and events in the United States. Weir (history, Smith College) presents these texts as a self-referencing encyclopedia aimed at a wide and variously educated audience, including students and professionals, but not intended for labor historians.
