The role of video in process-based language teaching

A Master of Arts dissertation exploring the role media technology plays in process and project based approaches to learning in relation to the facilitation of second language acquisition. The text explores current understandings then seeks to develop these further by comparing findings from research based on small group projects. The findings lend support to understandings of the importance of affective factors in language acquisition and the need to provide a range of different teaching approaches to ensure that all learners are engaged and fully realise their potential.
