Sentieri sostenibili

Parco della Majella is one of Italy's most striking natural areas, home to rare, and in some cases, unique animal and plant species. It also houses the Campochiaro-Sulmona gas pipeline -- creating a collaboration between a nature park and an Italian gas infrastrucure company (SNAM) and the relationship between protected areas and the economic world. One section of the book is devoted to the park itself, and another section to the infrastructure that runs through it.
