"Adam looses his parents due to a traffic accident when he is only four years old. His grandfather takes care of him. Then the grandfather dies before Adam obtains his high school diploma, so he is expelled from his uncle's house and turns to his father's friend. In the midst of these events, the Syrian revolution (2011) erupts, and Adam and a group of university friends join it, along with his cousin. A complete lack of belonging accompanies him wherever he goes. He ends up in Vienna." --
