International Resource Management

The purpose of this book is to analyse the role of science in political processes of international resource management. It addresses two key problems : that of the role of science in initiating political processes and the role of science in political decision-making. Selected papers deal with the management of the living resources of the ocean, including whaling, and, the polar regions.
