As a personal, socio-historic document it captures the ethos of our society at that tiem and sheds light on the wealth of opportunities it offered young New Zealanders, nurturing and stimulating them. Michael Mences raises questions about how New Zealand has changed. He reflects on the structure, responsibilities, and characteristics of a forward-looking society.
