Pappenhiemers

This book contains the full German transcriptions of the 26 one-minute animation segments contained in the complete 13-part video/television series co-produced and distributed by Oregon Public Broadcasting. The transcriptions are illustrated with cels from the original animation by Fred Garbers, and augmented with phonetic transcriptions and English translations for each line of dialogue. Included in the back is a "Key to Pronunciation" and an "Alphabetized Word Listing." The series and the guide were designed to stimulate interest in and appreciation of German language and culture and are well suited to classroom use with students of all ages.
