About This Book

The O. A. C. Review now appears in a new format, along with a mandate to publish material by the students for the students and alumni. This issue begins the new school year with articles summarizing the previous summer's activities. There are articles extolling the students to apply themselves. Such as, not to waste time or money on the movies or radio programs, and to live up to the college mottos. Updates are provided for the departments of animal husbandry, English, and horticulture. Campus news suggests places to visit in Guelph and on campus, such as the Light of Remembrance in War Memorial Hall. The alumni and alumnae new sections have expanded. The Macdonald Institute column provides photographs of the women's graduation in June, a tribute to Katharine Fuller, and a letter from alumna Grace Sedgewick of her work in South Africa. While the expanded Alumni column reports on the numerous class reunions, Alumni Day, a letter from "Spike" aka J. K. Galbraith and alumni updates.
