About This Book
The programme of the League of Yugoslav Communists was the 1958 policy document that signaled Yugoslavia's break with Moscow and departure from Comecon (Yugoslavia retained observer status). The main tenets were decentralization of power (although under the umbrella of the Tito-led League), and workers' ownership of industrial production with factories owned and controlled by an elected committee of workers.
The programme was translated into English by Kurt Weisskopf, and published in English in 1959 by G D H Cole's International Society for Socialist Studies (ISSS).
