The Atom Heart Murders

When Superintendent John Murdoch discovers the tortured body of a young female barrister in her plush Cape Town home, all fingers point towards a notorious terrorist cell. But when a second body is found, the circumstances surrounding the killings begin to kindle sinister memories from Murdoch's past. Beneath the veneer of perfect blue skies and white sandy beaches, Murdoch descends into the darkness of the new South Africa; and as he becomes more obsessed with his own tragic history, we learn that he may not be who, or even what he claims.
