Blight

A man discovers his garden is inhabited by elves and falls in love with one of them. He is drawn into their conflicts and takes part in a plot to assassinate their tyrannical leader. The new leader tries to steal the gardener's love, so he kills him as well. An allegory on life, with illustrations, by the author of Heroism in New Black Poetry.
