Axel Törneman och modernismen

Axel Törneman (1880-1925) was active as an artist in the midst of the breakthrough of modern art. Despite his relatively short life, he managed to both experience and be part of the dramatic cultural shifts that marked the beginning of the 20th century. With Törneman as a portal figure, this anthology charts the early currents of art and ideas that today gather under the concept of modernism.
