Daughter of Fire and Fate

In a ploy to prevent her lover's death at the hands of fate, Kindel Cole leaves the safety of the People of the Wheel. On her quest, Kindel must avoid mortal enemies, have faith in old friends, and confront a new romantic interest. Fate beckons, however, with many paths and many possibilities, and a great evil must be overcome if the Land of the Living is not to become that of the dead.
