Projections of the population of states by age, sex, and race (United States), 1988 to 2010

This dataset provides annual population projections for the 50 states and the District of Columbia by age, sex, and race for the years 1986 through 2010. The projections were made using a mathematical projection model called cohort-component method. This method allows separate assumptions to be made for each of the components of population change: births, deaths, internal migration, and international migration.
