This is a comprehensive history of Washington County FL. The book includes numerous commentaries from the author E W Carswell based on his lifetime spent in the area. I found the book very readable, the information invaluable for geneology work for families from the Panhandle and the effort spent on area health care assets, education and churches just flat out helpful to understand the evolution of this region.
