A new edition of a Nordic classic from 1994. A documentation of people from Tuupovaara in Eastern Finland looking for better work opportunities in Eskilstuna, Sweden. Ever since the 1960s, Finns have left the countryside for the cities in order to find work. Old industries, employing manual labor got waylaid in the postwar progress and evolution.This series was taken in Eskilstuna in the fall of 1972 and in the spring the following year Tuupovaara.
