Literacy changes lives

Literacy Changes Lives introduces cases from the Egyptian British Adult Literacy Training Project (1995-1998). The case studies were compiled by interviewing villagers, adult literacy students and teachers, Egyptian General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education staff, ALTP coordinators and counterparts. Here they speak for themselves about the changes education and the project made to their lives.
