Utvandrerhistorie for Folldal

General immigration history includingthe causes of leaving their homes as economic recession when the mines were flooded and finally closed around 1850. There is a description of their new homes in three or four colonies in north-west and central Wisconsin. The book has a 200 page long family-tree for most of the 800 immigrants from Folldal containing genalogical info for some 3000 people in three generations. You may also find a first name-index of those Norwegin-Americans.
