A proportional E.M.G. controlled demand muscle stimulator

This describes the development and realisation of a device which monitors the amplitude of the emg from any skeletal muscle, and, when this voltage rises above a set trigger level, provides a stimulus signal to the muscle via the sensing electrodes. This stimulus is proportional to the amplitude of the emg and continues until that emg voltage drops below a set level. Thus it provides power assistance in real time to the muscle.
