About This Book

A rare little booklet from the Haldeman-Julius Company, noted publishers of socially conscious political material. This booklet chronicles a lynching in Arkansas, then the fourth in lynchings in the nation. Georgia was first, Mississippi second, and Texas third. Since 1900 (26 years), 245 Negroes were lynched in Arkansas, including women. A great del of research and reporting went into these 61 pages.
