The rightward drift of Mexico's former revolutionaries

Like many Mexican revolutionaries, Díaz Soto y Gama was an anarchist and Marxist at the turn of the 20th century. After the revolution, he became increasingly conservative, and by 1940 had become an ultra-right-winger, anti-communist, and fascist sympathizer. This book traces Díaz Soto y Gama's life from college (1896-1901) to his final years, when he was one of Mexico's most outspoken "Cold Warriors."
