Albert S. Bard papers

The Honest Ballot Association papers consist mainly of correspondence, reports, memoranda, printed and near print matter relating to ballot reform, election fraud, direct primaries, voting machines, state election laws, NYC elections and routine organizational matters. This subseries documents some of the legal cases that Bard retained information on as it related to ballots, and voting practice reforms. One of the most interesting cases is “Fraser vs. Fallon” regarding an assault at a polling place in 1912.
