About This Book

Presents hundreds of electrocardiographic examples of simple and complex arrhythmias and teaches underlying diagnostic theory. Section I provides multiple ECG readings of commonly encountered simple and complex arrhythmias, and includes differential diagnoses where appropriate. These readings are presented with a minimum of theory, and are repetitively presented in multiple permutations, as they would be encountered in actual practice. Section II discusses ECG mechanisms and arrhythmogenesis. Attention is focused on underlying electrophysiology and the deductive processes used to reach diagnoses of complex arrhythmias. Fisch is professor emeritus of medicine at Krannert Institute of Cardiology, Indiana University School of Medicine. Knoebel teaches medicine at the same institution.
