About This Book
The new student is introduced to the school with articles on how to utilize the Massey library, the benefits of the O. A. C. Students' Co-operative Association, and the value of the freshman initiation's flag fight. Other students provides a couple of short stories and an article on scientific agriculture. Agricultural articles pertain to the rotation of farm crops, information available from the bureau of fertilizer manufacturers, and the need for leadership for fruit growers in Eastern Canada. There is also a tribute to the late William Hunt. The serialized wartime story titled "Apres la Guerre" is continued in this issue. Campus news reports on the various social activities for the new student. The Macdonald Institute column welcomes the new students and features the Y. W. C. A. reception, and the women's field day activities. The Alumni column contains alumni and alumnae updates.
